Here is an extremely rare concert footage from the late great Ella Fitzgerald filmed in France in 1978...
this amazing concert is really unique for Ella is backed by her usual trio of the time, with Tommy Flanagan, and plus by a large Orchestra of brass and winds.....also unique is the location of the performance, the beautiful Castle of Emperì located in the Provence region in the South of France.
Originally filmed by the French television, it was actually never rebroadcast and the original quality is really amazing...no logo on the screen, just the amazing footage of the master tape.
